The food and staff here are great. I always love their arroz y frijoles y carne. The location is small, but very clean and makes you feel at home. Definitely coming back here.

The mofongo is perfection: garlicky mojo, tender pernil and crispy pork cracklings on top. Their tres golpes is also delicious: creamy mangu topped with pickled red onions, fried cheese, over-easy egg (I skip the "salami", so cant speak to that). The place is really tiny so I would suggest ordering to go. We had a tray of mini mofongos catered for an 80th birthday party with a Caribbean theme and it was an absolute hit! The food is fresh and flavorful, a must try!

Oh. My. Gawwwwwwwwwwwd. Seriously. If you want some HOME-COOKED Caribbean GRUB: TEAM. MACHINE. DELI. HAS IT ALL. I have nothing but the best to say about this family-owned and
operated business, conveniently located minutes off I-80. First, parking is always available, if not in front, then in back or the side streets. Neighborhood is SAFE, quiet, clean. The deli is CLEAN (check the bathroom if you don't believe me). The food is HOT and FRESH. Amidst all of this great cooking is a small, bodega-like atmosphere, with chairs sprinkled around to rest your feet and a nice TV to watch while you eat/wait (not long either; fast service). Here is the kicker: the woman who owns the place is like a Mom/sister/friend to anyone who walks in the door. She makes you feel like you're the ONLY person that matters. She could be cutting platanos or mixing rice, but she will talk to you like you're in her actual kitchen at her house. And she doesn't forget things!!  I hadn't seen her for a few weeks during the holidays; when I stopped in after my travels, she asked me about stuff I even forgot!  She is that PERSONABLE. Her kids are HUMBLE and KIND; what a great job the owner has done. I guess one of her sons, who works there from time to time, is a big-time boxer. All of his belts/trophies are everywhere. But he is the sweetest, most unassuming person ever. One would never know his profession is boxing. He treats the customers just like his mom: IMPORTANT and VALUABLE. There aren't many places like this anymore. If I had to say one negative thing (which I hate to even bring up): Please add more desserts!  She makes THE. BEST. FLAN. AND. TRES. LECHES. EVERRRRRR. But because of that, it usually sells out FAST. THANKS TEAM MACHINE!

Very small family business owned by Dominicans. It's so convenient since it's near me. Not much variety with food and very small place but I really like the way they cook the Dominican breakfast of mangu, fried eggs, fried cheese, and salami. Everything is always cooked just right, not overcooked ever! Would recommend this place for the breakfast, haven't really tried much.
Don't recommend their flan or empanadas though.

Glad to find a spot for Dominican food without having to travel to far or head into the ghetto. This is a small little deli type place that has cafeteria style meals with a couple stools to eat at. They also have a couple picnic tables in the front for outdoor eating. Food was 100% on point. Felt like I travelled back to DR minus the beaches. I tried the pernil, rice, beans and fried plantains. All which had great flavor. My husband had the baked chicken, rice, beans and plantains which he said was delicious. All this for $20 is a great deal and a lot of food for your buck.  Staff was very friendly. Can't wait to come back!!
